Water-colour Rose Wonder Card

Roses are one of those flowers that everyone loves. Whether we like to grow them ourselves, or admire them in other gardens, the range of colours is beautiful.

Today's card uses the Rose Wonder stamp set by Stampin' Up! It is a large and simple image that takes up a lot of the card front, but it allows for a number of interpretations in colouring and techniques.

I used one of my favourite techniques - water colouring with a Stampin' Up! Aqua Painter and Classic Inks on water colour paper.

I heat embossed the image with clear embossing powder, then liberally spritzed it with water. After that it is just a matter of loading the Aqua Painter with ink and touching it to the paper. It will spread to the outlines and give you a wonderful free range of colours. Always start with your lightest colour and add smaller amounts of darker colours as you progress. It creates such a nice fresh effect.

Stamp the greeting and punch out any shape you choose. Mount it on some Ribbon and Sequins before matting it onto Black and Basic Grey A4 .
This creates a quick and easy card and of course you can choose any colour combination that you feel like using.

Do you like what you see and think you'd like to earn some extra income from stamping?
If you are looking for a hobby, a part or full time job, working from home and at your own pace, AND you love craft, then you should consider doing what I do. It is fun and rewarding.
