Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards Tutorial

METHOD:

  •  Using Jet Black Stazon, stamp the image onto water colour paper.
  •  Colour your image with the water-colour pencils and blend with the Aqua Painter. alternately stamp any chosen image, and colour with any method of water-colour such as classic inks and Aqua Painter. (See How To Instructions Video)
  •  Using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and your die cut machine, cut the image. 
  •  Cut the Old Olive Mat using the next size die.
  •  Cut the Early Espresso Mat this larger size also, then downsize it  (see video "Making  Any Size Frame With the Stitched Rectangle Dies")
  • Adhere the stamped image onto the Early Espresso die cut rectangle. Add dimensionals to the back
  •  Cut a 14cm length of Burlap Ribbon. Working 3 - 4 cms on each end, tease out the clear fibres to spread the burlap fibres apart.
  •  Position the ribbon behind the Early Espresso card stock.
  •  Peel the backs off the Dimensionals  and adhere to the Old Olive card stock.
  • Open the laser-cut card, apply tiny dots of Mutlipurpose Glue to the thicker areas of the pattern. 
  • Adhere the Soft Sea Foam card to the back of the Laser-cut section. (if you wish you could add another Soft Sea piece of card to the inside right hand side of the card also.) 
  • Choose a greeting - die cut it using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhere with Dimensionals.
