Now a little about the card. The picture in my head was of the plane taking off from a country airfield - viewed through the forest. I used the same technique of swiping the folder as I did for my original technique post so you might like to check that tutorial out.
This time I used Lost Lagoon and Delightful Dijon - 2 of our current IN COLORS, swiped directly onto the folder. Then I stamped the image using Memento Black.
The greeting is a combination of two greetings from the same stamp set - Sky Is The Limit, and they have been embossed over vellum - yes I love those trees so much I hate to cover them up.
The outer edge of the embossed image has been sponged with Lost Lagoon ink prior to matting onto Basic Black card and Lost Lagoon card, and a little touch of Linen thread completes the picture.

I am in love with this card and the technique you demonstrate but I guess I need more practice as mine didn't turn out like yours I LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Charlene. This technique can be a bit hit and miss, so don't be discouraged. I think the trick is to hold the stamped image on the folder for a few seconds, then when it is dry add a little solid colour with your Aqua Painter.
Deleteoops I should have said, after it has been run through the Big Shot and is dry. Sorry for the confusion.
