ABOUT ME

My Story

Ann Craig

I've always loved doing creative work - I am a retired high school art teacher, experienced in teaching all age groups from kindergarten to Senior Citizens at the local Community Centre.
I am a mum of 3 daughters, and grandma to the 4 best kids in the world. I've been married to my husband Stuart for 50 years - I think he's a stayer!

Becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in 2006, was a dream come true:-
I  believe that to create beautiful projects you need great products and I can purchase high quality products at discount prices. I get to see the newest releases of stamps and other paper craft products before the general public and I have access to wonderful creative ideas from the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator web site.
I can choose to be creative every day, showing stamping techniques, using fabulous products and fresh project ideas  to my customers and friends, or I can take a break whenever I choose. I am my own boss!

I love helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion and I 'm passionate about helping people develop their own creativity through knowledge of the products  and how to get the best results via various techniques. Understanding colour and how it changes depending on the combinations you use lets you depict emotions through your art/craft.

So, why not join me? I am a Stampin' Up! Team Leader. My team of demonstrators is  called  "distINKtive STAMPING designs" and we come from many parts of Australia.
Browse my project pages, check out the Stampin' Up! special promotions. It's all here for you, and if you can't find what you're looking for, check out my website.
There are many rewards available to Demonstrators above and beyond the extra income you can earn, including discounted products, lots of new friends, and access to ideas and inspiration from my team and Stampin' Up!®

Relax and enjoy your creativity by using the best quality products on the market. Call or email me for further information about joining my team.

You can now take the easy option of placing product orders via my On-Line Shopping option.

  2. I am from the USA and just found your work. I love the cute Gift Bow Angels and would appreciate getting the details on how to make them. I just ventured out and went to a Stamping Up card making class for the first time last week! Looking forward to learning many new techniques. We used SU watercolor pencils and I loved it...

    Thank you.

    1. Hi Mary Anne. So glad you like the Angels. I only make mini angels now as the Gift Bow die has retired, but the mini angels sue the same method, just in miniature. you can see how to on a video on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uKip9NMjZA

  4. I can't figure out how you got the car stamped so distinctly onto the paper. I stamped in onto the folder in the Memento Ink but it isn't coming off nicely onto the c/s. Any tips?

  5. Hello from California, Ann!

I want to CASE your gorgeous card that's a bit in the past (2014); it's the brayered sky found at: http://anncraig.blogspot.com/2014/03/brayer-magic-with-stamps.html

I'm primarily interested in how you achieved the lovely, ethereal bright white rays coming down from the top of the card. They look like they're sponged, but I can't seem to replicate them. Did you use any particular type of ink--Tim Holtz, Stampin' Up, acrylic paint, etc.?
The card I'm making by CASing yours has a spiritual theme, and you've created an image that I've seen on NO other card, after viewing thousands. You're a true artist, and I'd appreciate any direction you could pass on. Thanks so much, and best to you.--Susan Scott
