Gorgeous Grunge Screen Card

I've enjoyed seeing a few screen cards posted lately so thought I'd have a go myself. 

This card uses some of the elements from Stampin' Up's Gorgeous Grunge and Kinda Eclectic stamp sets, combined with flowers stamped and punched with coordinating punches. The flowers are from the stamp sets, Flower Shop, Petite Petals and Petal Pot Pourri.

The front of the card features a composite flower from all 3 stamp sets, coloured with a Blender Pen and Classic Ink (Blackberry Bliss) and raised up with a Dimensional between each layer. 

The colours used are Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon and the range of tones is achieved by "stamping off" the image. The 2014 -2016 In Colors are perfect for stamping off as the richness of their colour allows for up to 4 stamps without re-inking.

The next 2 panels showcase the beautiful leaf image from "Kinda Eclectic" together with images from "Gorgeous Grunge".

The top of the screen is created using the Confetti Heart Border Punch and the legs of the screen are punched out with the Curly Label Punch.

Card In a Box with Stampin' Up! Flower Shop.

Love these card in a box style cards and as I wanted a fairly quick version for a class, I decided to create the decorations with the flower Shop stamp set from Stampin' Up and the coordinating Pansy Punch. 

I also used one of my all-time favourite Designer Series Papers - Beau Chateau which is on the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack for a very good price right now. You can always shop at my on-line store and the products will be posted directly to you. What could be easier?

Take a look at the card in the finished state. I added the vintage gramophone and sponged the edges of all the images with Soft Suede ink to create a Vintage effect for the entire card.

The centres of the flowers have Champagne Glass Glitter sprinkled over Tombow Glue.

The next photo shows how the card flattened down to be posted in a square envelope. You do need to continually check that your card will lie flat when you are creating and placing the decorations.

Mothers Day Card

Tomorrow is Mother's Day here in Australia, and I won't be able to see my mum so I made her a card that I hope she likes.

 Mum loves flowers and it is so easy to stamp the flowers from the Stampin' Up! FLOWER SHOP stamp set and punch them out with the coordinating PANSY PUNCH. I then added some smaller blooms using the PETITE PETALS stamp set and the coordinating PETITE PETALS PUNCH.  I love how Stampin' Up! make it so easy by providing punches that coordinate with the stamp sets. 

The leaves were made using the LITTLE LEAVES Sizzlits Die

Colours of the inks and card stock are PISTACHIO PUDDING, BLUSHING BRIDE, VERY VANILLA and STRAWBERRY SLUSH. I love using the DOILIES as a quick and easy embellishment and they blend perfectly with a textured background achieved  with the FANCY FAN embossing folder and the BIG SHOT.

I raised some of the flowers to different heights with DIMENSIONALS and sponged some of the flowers petals to spread the colour.

The greeting comes from the stamp set of 4 stamps: MY MOTHER. As you can see from the images below, it is a very versatile set that will suit both modern and traditional cards.
