Wine Bottle Gift Tag Santas

Last year I made a few of these wine bottle gift tags in traditional colours to go with  Christmas Gifts, and to sell at Craft stalls. They were very popular so this year I wanted to extend my stock and cater more for the ladies who like a little bubbly!

This is what I came up with.

I've used the lovely colours, Coastal Cabana (so sad to see this one leave us) and Blushing Bride, plus the gorgeous Silver Glimmer Paper, Whisper White card and Sahara Sand card (for Santa's face). The Gift Bow Bigz L die makes the bits for Santa's whiskers and I've used a variety of punches for all the other bits. This makes it easy to make lots of these in one go as most of the items can be punched or die cut in multiples.

As these gift tags are more "girly" I used the eyes with lashes.

I am gearing up for our stall at the Old Bus Depot Markets, so there will be lots of Christmassy items on my blog for a while. I hope you enjoy the ideas and feel free to contact me for further information.

Bows, Boxes & Angels

Have you discovered the versatility of the Gift Bow Bigz die (#129977) yet?

Not only is it fantastic for making a wide variety of Bows useful in gift wrapping, decorating and embellishing, there are a number of other creative uses.

The paper bows can be sponged, dry embossed, and made from patterned paper to allow you to use for all occasions. You can make them into "Bow Ties " for the boys or dress them up with glitter and ribbons - just whatever your imagination dictates.

I saw this lovely project on-line somewhere and I added my own take to it.
The boxes are simple to make in a variety of sizes - you can use a full A4 sheet of card a half A4 sheet or any combination of measurements.

I made quite a few boxes with matching cards by stamping the card and boxes in similar designs.

And you can make coordinating Christmas Ornaments using the "Festive Flurry Bundle" of stamps and matching framelits (w #133284). Remember you save 15% by purchasing a bundle!

I mentioned Bows, Boxes and Angels in the post heading and here is my take on the angels that can be made from the Gift Bow die.

I love these little angels and I have them hanging on my Christmas tree this year, along with some lovely doves and other ornaments I made. It is fun to do and rather satisfying to have the tree decorated with items I've made. These little ladies were very popular at the Old Bus Depot Craft Markets and they make a lovely embellishment on gifts for those special people in your life.

Until Next Time
