This Flowering Fields stamp set from Stampin' Up!® has really caught my attention - I love the simple sketched flowers and the variety of techniques that can be used with the set.
Today I've used a note card from the Note Cards & Envelopes pack by Stampin' Up! and used a couple of techniques that I think compliment each other quite well.
The first technique is Heat Embossing. I've stamped the images in Versa Mark and poured White Embossing Powder over them. This is stamped on Pink Pirouette Card Stock. Next I used a rectangular piece of paper to create a Mask and sponged around it with bot Soft Suede and Blushing Bride ink.
To complete the illusion of an additional piece of card I did some free-hand faux stitching using a White Gel Pen. These techniques can be used in so many different ways and with lots of different stamp sets.
