Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop - Christmas DSP

Hello and welcome to another Blog Hop. This week we are focusing on Designer Series Papers to showcase the wonderful effects you can achieve by incorporating patterned papers in to your cards.

October will see a Stampin' Up! promotion of select Designer Series Papers, so keep an eye out for some bargains in that area.

My card today uses the beautiful SNOWFLAKE SPLENDOR DSP.  You can find it on page 37 of the HANDMADE FOR YOU Catalogue.

The patterns and colours are beautiful and are lovely for traditional Christmas cards.

I combined the Snowflake Splendor paper with a cute stamp set that has images that really appeal to me. I spent a couple of Christmases in the USA and was blessed with snow for both of them, and I really like the style of these images.

SNOW WONDER is a simple set that does not require much colouring and has a pretty font for the greetings.

Here is the card I made.

It's fun to combine other products with the SNOWFLAKE SPLENDOR DSP . By adding  a frame from the ORNATE LAYERS DIES, and cutting out the snowman image so I could overlap the images, I've created a card with dimension and interest.

A little WINK OF STELLA  never goes astray and the snowman and trees have been highlighted with that gorgeous glitter from the pen.

Now it is time to see what other members of the Blog Hop have created.

Follow the list to see all the lovely ideas.
