Baby Card

Yesterday I had my regular monthly craft day with 2 special friends. We always have a wonderful day usually starting with "Show and Tell" - whether it be our own creations, new purchases or just some fun crafty discovery that has occurred throughout the previous month..

I had a couple of cards that had to be made yesterday and one of them was a Welcome New Baby card for one of my regular Stampin' Up! customers. So I pulled out my old favourites for baby girls (retired Stampin' Up! sets) and got to work.

Here is the result.

I've combined a number of stamp sets and used a variety of techniques.

Stampin' Up! punches:
Scallop Trim Border
Heart to Heart
Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer
Ribbon:
Pretty In Pink Taffeta
Ink:
Early Espresso
(this produces the pink tinge when water is added to the ink. You only have to float your Aqua Painter over the stamped image to have the pink emerge.)
Embossing Folders:
Finial Press
 Square Lattice

And here are some detailed views.

I do so love doing "girly" things - pearls, ribbons and pretty shapes are great fun to play with.
