Celebrating My First Blog Award

What a fun way to start the week. I just received my first blog award and I'm tickled pink.
I'll talk a little more about that later as lots of really good things are happening in my life at present and I'd like to share a few of them.

This year will see my 40th wedding anniversary come up and we are celebrating as a family with a Cruise to the Caribbean. Can't wait even tho I have to wait until May! Today one of my daughters came over and she helped me book a stay at Disney World Animal Kingdom so my husband and I can enjoy seeing our grandson (and our daughter and son-in-law) have lots of fun at the various theme parks. We will do this after our cruise and it should be excellent. We lived in the US as a family in 1985 but didn't have the funds to do theme parks in those days - it's been a long time coming!

Also today my little grandson had his first morning at Pre-School. He came over to visit afterwards and looked so grown up in his school uniform.

Isn't he cute? I was never teary when my girls went to school as I knew what wonderful adventures lay before them, but I've become quite a sook with the grandies, even tho I know this little man will enjoy school.

So, here is the Blog Award, and a big thank you to Monique for the gift.

I now need to hand this on to 5 other Bloggers who inspire me.

I would ask that each of these lovely ladies pass the award on to five creative blogs that inspire them, or that they feel deserve a special mention.  Ideally this award is for the lesser known bloggers, with less than 200 followers.  Please visit them and let them know how much you too enjoy their work. Here is my list of inspiring bloggers. They each are there for different reasons

Fiona at Filoma's Craft World  - her albums are exquisite

Debby at Debbles Dabbles  - her creativity is never ending

Shelley at Shelley's Stamping Ground
 - her beautiful artistry, particularly in CAS cards.

Elle at All About Elle  - I'm wild about Elle's unconventional approach to her art work

Vanessa at Vanessa Webb - Independent  Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator
- her never ending procession of wonderful stamped projects

So readers, pop on over to these blogs and leave some love - you'll be glad you visited.

Until next time,

Stay Crafty!
