Everyday Enchantment - I think all of us who are able to stamp or craft each day can lay claim to that statement, but I am referring to the absolutely gorgeous Designer Series Papers Stampin' Up!® has provided as one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration products this year.
The variety of patterns on these double sided papers are incredibly suited to card making and help to make even the simplest of sketches look rather luscious. The combinations of colours are also quite delicious and include: Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Peach Parfait, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla and Soft Suede.
My card uses the unusual combination of Limeade and Pool Party and I love the soft and feminine result.
A very simple sketch that can be varied by making the DSP band thicker or placing it higher or lower on the card. The hearts are punched with the Heart to Heart Punch and the Full Heart Punch with some dry embossing using the Perfect Polka Dots and Square Lattice folders.
The card stock is Whisper White and Pool Party with the Lace Ribbon Border is punched then sliced in half to place either side of the patterned paper. Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and some Perfect Pearls complete the card.
Apologies for the pink tinges (and the slipped pearl) - no matter how hard I try I can't seem to edit them out today and lots of people were handling this card at class and I didn't see that little oopsie!
Hope you like the card - thanks for looking and do have a look at the Sale-A-Bration brochure.
You can place an order online via my Demonstrator Web site.
Every $100 order (ex P & H) allows you to choose 1 free product from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure
So check your Wish Lists and place your order before March 31st or you will miss out on these exclusive products that will never again be available.
I am entering this card in the SUO Challenge # 39 - Birthdays
