I’m really happy to be back! It’s been such a long time since I did a blog post and the time has flown by with Summer holidays, and lots of memories made with the family at the coast house. I’ve been inspired to create a few scrap pages using Stampin’ Up! Products and I’m looking forward to sharing some of the techniques I’ve used.
Before we start though, I’d like to let you know that Stampin’ Up! Has had a wonderful release of many items that are suitable for scrapping. You’ll find a lot of the information under the Memory Keeping tab.
If you are starting out on traditional scrapping and you’d like a little help, try one of the SCRAPBOOKING WORKSHOP KITS. They have everything you need plus instructions so it’s a great way to get started. Here’s one of the pages I’ve done recently. It’s lovely and colourful and the DSP reminds me of the waves and sand.
The seagulls are stamped with Memento Black and coloured with Smoky Slate Blends. Notice the strip of vellum? It is embossed and adds further textural interest to the page.
