This week my younger grandson turned 5, and that demanded a hand made card from grandma!
Sadly I will be saying goodbye to him in a few days as he and his family are moving overseas for 3 years, so I thought I'd add just a little Australian flavour to the card.
I used a Stampin' Up! stamp set named Animal Outing, from the new Annual Catalogue. (page 27)
It's a very versatile set - great for kids, and it comes with coordinating framelits to save you time and enable you to easily layer the animals.
Here is the card:
I stamped the kangaroo, branch and giraffe directly onto the card front, and the rhino on a separate piece of card stock.
They have been coloured with Stampin' Up! Blends.
The rhino was fussy cut, because I forgot I had the framelits!!!! That's how much of a rush I was in.
I finished the card by drawing 2 rough lines around the edge and cutting our a "5"using my Large Numbers framelits
I can see lots of uses for this set and will enjoy water-colouring the critters at some stage.
If you'd like to purchase the Animal Outing Bundle you will save 10% on the purchase. Just go to my store (Australian residents only) and use the current Host code (see the side bar)
Until next time
Stay crafty
