Papillon Potpourri Teams Well With Designer Series Papers

Today's card combines Designer Series Papers with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and the gorgeous Papillon Potpourri stamp set from Stampin' Up!®

This detail of the card shows the incredible texture obtained when using Stampin Up embossing folders with the Big shot. It creates a lovely contrast with the patterned paper. Both of these papers are from the same set, and you can always be sure that papers within a set from Stampin Up, will coordinate beautifully. the butterfly is just one of the images from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set, and it has been punched out with the coordinating punch.

I raised the paper circles up on dimensionals after adhering them to some scrap card to give them a little more strength.

An here is the complete card. Simple to make and quick as well, making it a perfect card for that last minute occasion.

Flower Fun on Scrap Pages

Today I have another scrap page featuring flowers and dry embossing and staring the gorgeous Miss MacKenzie.

A variety of flowers from my stash plus Butterflies, stamped and punched with Stampin' Up!® images and punches make up the cluster at the bottom Right corner.

As the photos document some playtime in my garden with my grand daughter I thought it appropriate to include some floral decoration else where on the page. I used vellum for the top layer of the butterflies so dry embossed some vellum with the ELEGANT BOUQUET FOLDER and used one of the PAPER DOILIES to create interest.
Colours used: RICH RAZZLEBERRY, GARDEN GREEN, WHISPER WHITE  and some retired PALE PLUM

You can now order any of these products directly from me on-line via my website on-line shopping
And you will have the chance to win $50 of product if you use the current Hostess Code

This was a very quick and easy page - I just need to add some notes about the event - we often spend time out in the garden on our "Mondays" and it's fun to teach her about leaves and flowers and spiders and bugs.

Just a quick post today, so....

Until Next time
