It's A(nother) Sale A Bration - Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop

Hello and welcome on this cold winter morning, to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop.

Today we are celebrating the start of our second Sale A Bration for 2021. So there are things to celebrate in our crazy world right now, and once again Stampin' Up! has some wonderful free products for you to have with every $90 you spend, so hop on over to my On-line shop to see the new Mini Catalogue (also known as the July to December Mini) and all it's wonderful offerings. You can order on-line too, so spend some time looking and be inspired by last weeks hop for some great ideas.

Here are a few of the items you can earn  while shopping from either or both of the current catalogues.

Today I've chosen to use the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper - I love all the Stampin' Up! DSP's and find them so useful for quick cards, 3-D projects and ornaments.

The Beautifully Penned DSP is 30.5 x 30.5 cm and comes with 12 sheets, 4 each of 3 double sided designs.

decided to showcase the papers on a fancy fold card. Now I am not good with numbers and it took me a while to work out metric measurements for the card, but I think I eventually managed to get the different folds to line up!

Please contact me if you want the measurements.

The patterns are so nice to use, and compliment each other beautifully. The coloured image is also one of the papers where I've cut out a motif and coloured with water colour pencils and a Blender Pen.

I made a little Belly band to hold the card closed and added some swirls of gold thread. The image is raised on Dimensionals.

The papers can also be coloured with Stampin' Blends, Stampin Write Markers or sponged with inks.

I hope this card inspires you to use up lots of Designer Series Papers, but also to look at the FREE product available in the SAB brochure. It is only available while stocks last, so it's best to order sooner rather than later😀

All products from the July - December Catalogue are available from August 3, and SAB products are available August 3 - September 30 (while stocks last)

Go to my On-line shop to order any of the products I've used, and if your order is more than $90 don't forget your Free Sale A Bration product.

Thanks for stopping by, now let's hop along to see what the other participants have created:

Alaska Achievers Blog Hop - Heartfelt Blooms

Hello and Welcome to the Alaska Achievers Blog Hop.
It has been a while since I participated in the hop but I'm so happy to have made time to join many of the other achievers and give you some fun tips on the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set.

For our hop in January we are featuring the Sale-a-Bration and Occasion catalogue products.

I have chosen to  work with Heartfelt Blooms - one of the new Distinktive stamps range  and one of the free Sale-A-Bration stamp sets you can choose when you spend $90 in my shop.
You might like to view all the free items offered this year  - you can ask me for a brochure or view it on-line

How are these stamps different to the other Stampin' Up! stamps?
Well.... these stamps "lay down the ink at different opacities, giving the finished image more depth".
It pays to read the information in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue before even starting with the main stamp in this set or you may end up with a lot of rejects! Don't ask me how I know.

This is what happens when the ink pad is too wet. You loose definition.

I have a couple of hints for you before you get started.
1. ink the stamp lightly and evenly
2. Check your ink pad is not too wet
3. Stamp quickly and apply pressure to the centre of the stamp with your index fingers

Watch the video for a demonstration.

Once you have some lovely images there are lots of things you can do with them.
Here is another idea.

Image stamped in Memento and coloured with a variety of the Light Blends colours.

The close up view shows the pixilation and lines that create the realism in the image.

For my card, I stamped the image twice - fussy cut the main flower, lightly blended the ink with a Blender Pen then applied a little Wink of Stella.  The flower has been raised up on dimensionals.
The stamping is done on Whisper White, matted onto Silver Glimmer Paper and then again, matted  onto Night of Navy that has been embossed with one of the Petal Pair Embossing Folders from the Occasions Catalogue - see if you can find them on p. 23!

To the centre of the daisy, I added a clear Multi Faceted Gem that has been coloured with the Light Night of Navy Blends pen.

Stampin' Up! 2015 Occasions Catalogue Launch

A new catalogue is always exciting and this one from Stampin' Up! certainly does not disappoint. It is filled with gorgeous stamps, accessories and loads of ideas. To celebrate the launch of this catalogue, I held an event for some of my customers.

It was a pretty casual event with one side of the work tables covered in samples and new products, while the other side had work stations for everyone to try out a couple of select products.

One of the first projects you see is the gorgeous flower posie on the front cover of the catalogue. I made one up to decorate the table and I have to say - it is stunning. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but now I'm looking forward to making a few more. Kits are such a great idea for gifts and lots of fun for classes.

There are stamp sets galore in this Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue, and they come in a variety of wood mount, clear mount or photopolymer, giving you lots of options and price ranges.

Look out also for Bundles - you'll save 15% on them, while getting accessories that help speed up the crafting process.

Here are just a few of the stamp sets that were on display! They generated lots of interest and ideas for using them were shared around.

This Occasions Catalogue comes with a bonus as it is part of Sale A Bration.
Stampin' Up! has this great promotion at the beginning of each year and everyone can earn free products. All you have to do is spend $90 on product from any of the current catalogues, the Clearance Rack and the Weekly Deals and you can choose one item from the Sale A Bration Catalogue

Take a look at the catalogues on-line and if you would like a hard copy, contact me and I'll send one to you. If you would like to place an order you can fill your shopping basket here!

The order will be posted directly to you. You can pay securely with credit card and shop from the comfort of your home.

Enjoy the catalogue and stay tuned for some fun samples
