Freshly Brewed Projects - World Card Making Day

Hi everyone, I'm so glad to be back with the Freshly Brewed Projects gang after a few weeks away while Leonie moved interstate.

This week we are showing some of the projects we did for World Card Making Day that was on last weekend. My sister visited me (we are only allowed 2 visitors currently - covid restrictions while we are in a modified lockdown) and thankfully that modification was introduced on October 1 or I would have been stamping by myself.😢

We joined Leonie Schroder on-line for a few sessions and had a lovely day crafting and chatting.

I chose to create with one of our new kits - Christmas Whimsy Card Kit. I really enjoy the whimsical style and this kit beautifully captures the characteristics of the style.

You may not recognise this card if you already have the kit as I modified it a little while still using the elements provided. You can do this too and make a variety of cards from the kit. I rearranged the position of the people and trimmed the card front before matting it onto a white card base.

Here is what the original card looks like - also very cute and super fun to make, especially if you are new to card making.

This kit comes with 2 different designs for you to make.

Envelopes, die cuts, glue dots, sequins and stars, twine, an ink spot.

The stamps have lovely greetings using pretty fonts.

Stampin' Up! Kits - Expressions In Color

Stampin' Up!® is coming up with the best kits, and one of the latest to be released for customers is the Expressions In Color kit.

As the name suggests it is all about beautiful colours and comes with stamps, ink spots, vellum overlays and punched shapes to make your crafting experience easy and rewarding.

Recently many crafters celebrated World Card Making Day and for the most part I concentrated on working with kits.

Here is one of the cards I made from the Expressions In Color kit.

The kit contents are versatile and allow you to create as intended or apply your own take on what is provided. As an added extra, you keep the stamps and any left over die cuts to create further cards etc.

The other contents include die cut banners to stamp greetings on, vellum designs, greetings and backgrounds, mini glue dots, dimensionals, 3 each of 3 different card bases, coordinating ink spots. and envelopes.
