Scene from Venice

Greetings from Venice! Not really, but I have traveled there recently, and on my journey, could not go past a stamp shop! My niece is a really good navigator of back streets and she had us walking through all the little streets of Venice, over numerous bridges, away from the crowds and really getting into what Venice is all about.

When I found a paper and stamp shop I was in heaven. However I was very good and only purchased one stamp (I'm a dedicated Stampin' Up!® girl usually) but this one I could not leave behind.

Here is the image - such a simple but graphically striking image could not be done any other way than in Black and White for the first try.

Isn't it gorgeous?
And here is the first card I made. Simply: images stamped with Stazon Jet Black onto Whisper White from Stampin' Up! Torn edges around each side. A hand drawn line to delineate the border then matted onto Basic Black card and finally onto Textured Whisper White.....

Hope you enjoy this scene as much as I do.

Until next time,

Stay Crafty!
