Stamping Techniques To Try - Cards With Memories & More

Hello stamping friends - it is that time again when we bring you another great Technique To Try. This month we are using Memories and More cards to create quick cards to send. And they certainly do make quick cards as mine was done in just 15 minutes, including the water colouring.

I've used one of the large cards from the Petal Palette Suite (and I've just discovered that it is retired!!!) Too bad as I love this set of cards. Unfortunately I don't have time to make another card or I will miss the deadline, nor do I have any of the current Memories and More card packs, so this will give you an idea. However you can see how easy it is to add water colouring using an Aqua Painter and Classic Inks.

The colours I used are :
Granny Apple Green
Blushing Bride
Rich Razzleberry

Next you simply stamp a greeting, mat the card and add to a card base.

Simple and fun.

Thanks for looking and I apologise for the rushed post. Please follow along to the next post and enjoy the different ideas and samples. You just never know when you'll need a quick card that looks like it took a lot longer!

Until Next Time

Happy Stamping!

Six Sided Sampler Stamp Set - Card for Dad

I have a quick card for the boys today - this one was for Father's Day but it could be made for Birthdays too.

The hexagonal patterns are stamped with a variety of the stamps from the Six Sided Sampler Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!® and it is easily cut out with the coordinating Hexagon Punch that you can find in the Annual Catalogue.

The textured diagonal background is created with the "Stylish Stripes" Embossing Folder and you can find that in the Holiday Catalogue.

For more information about the products used to make this card you can Contact Me via my Demonstrator Business Website. While you are there, take a look at the On-Line ordering facility, where you can view the catalogues and order from your Wish List when ever you choose.

Just a quick post tonight as I try to catch up on the backlog!

Until Next Time

Wildflower Meadow by Stampin' Up!

I knew I had to have this Wildflower Meadow bundle (#132985 clear) the minute I saw the 2013-14 Annual Catalogue. Apart from the fact that I saved 15% by purchasing the stamps and the embossing folder as a bundle, I could imagine a number of ways to use them individually. However for my first project that was part of the August Card Stamp a Stack class I took the easy way out.

And that was to simply pat the stamp with Blushing Bride ink then swipe the image randomly with Soft Suede. I also sponged a little around the edges. So quick and easy and you don't know for sure what the finished effect will be.

Very Vanilla card is the base and after stamping the image I aligned it to the Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder to achieve some dimension in the card.

The greeting is from the Label Love (#130619 wood) stamp set and that coordinates beautifully with the Artisan Label Punch (#130920)

You can order any of these products directly on-line or feel free to contact me for further information.

Just a quick post tonight as I hop on another plane tomorrow to head to the top of Australia - sunny Darwin.

Until Next time
