Final Days of Stampin Up! Closeout Sale and Holiday Catalogue

Tonight is New Year's Eve in Australia and I'm at home after being with friends and family for a few hours, until the smoke from the dreadful bush fires here in New South Wales, chased us all in doors.

In Canberra all the fireworks and NYE celebrations have been cancelled due to severe and hazardous air quality, but I'm sure it is nothing compared to the actual fire ravaged areas.  My heart goes out to all those affected by loss of homes, businesses and family members. There is so much devastation.

On a brighter note, I want to remind you that you have until January 2 to shop the Close Out Sale - items from the Holiday catalogue, some of which are discounted.
Take a look at the Clearance Rack while you are there, and remember to use the HOST CODE in the side bar if your order is under $250.00
I am sending a little something extra to all customers who shop on-line in December and January.

Some wonderful news is the launch of the new Mini Catalogue on January 3, 2020 - it is full of really beautiful stamps, dies, punches and accessories that I know you will love. And of course with Sale A Bration (SAB) starting on January 3 there are lots of opportunities to get free SAB items.

I'm taking bookings for parties during SAB. Something I don't often offer, so I'd love for you to host a party and earn wonderful rewards. Dates are available in January, February and March.
Did you notice the gorgeous Host Only stamp set that is free with every party over $500?

The very best deal during SAB is to JOIN STAMPIN' UP!
We have some exclusive items including a cute Mini Cutter and Designer Series Paper Sampler that are in addition to the $235 of product - all for just $169. Contact me for more information if you'd like to chat about this offer. I'd love you to join my team.

I'll be back in a day or 2 with samples of cards and other paper-craft items from both the Mini Catalogue and the SAB catalogue.
If you don't already have a copy and would like one please let me know and I'll get one to you.
Best Wishes and Happy Crafting

The Sky Is the Limit in Sale-A-Bration

Don't you just love free products? I knew straight away that I had to have this stamp set:
The Sky Is The Limit, which is one of the FREE sets that you can get during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration (SAB) promotion this year.

It is often difficult to think of ideas for Male cards but this set gives you quite a few options.

Today I have used it with the gorgeous "Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack" that you can find in the Handmade from the Heart Occasions Catalogue
This stack comprises 48 15.2 x 15.2cm double sided pages - 4 each of 12 double sided designs and the colours are rich and so suitable for cards for our boys/men.

Colours are Lost Lagoon, Basic Gray, Basic Black and Whisper White, with highlights of Silver Foil.
I've used stamping, cutting, watercolour, masking and sponging techinques, but I think it is the background paper that steals the show. It is magnificent!

In the detail you can see how I coloured the plane body using my Aqua Painter and sponged some clouds behind the plane, using a piece of torn paper as the mask.

I love how this card turned out, and I particularly like the plane flying out of the matted circle. It's difficult to see but there is a touch of Wink of Stella Clear on the wings and the greeting cloud.

Below is a list of products I used in this project. You are welcome to order them via my on-line store (just select the shopping cart in the side bar) and if you are also welcome to use the current HOSTESS CODE (also at the top of the Right Side Bar). If you use the code you will be in the running to win the Hostess Rewards for the month, so don't forget to ensure that you give your details with the order. - this applies to Australian citizens only!

I do hope the card provides some inspiration

Until Next Time...
