Cute Punch Note Cards with Hello Ladybug

Punches are wonderful tools that assist you to make quick and pretty cards of all sizes.

Today I've chosen to create little note cards using a builder punch from the 2022 -23 Annual Catalogue

This little card uses images from the Hello Ladybug stamp set and the coordinating Ladybug Builder Punch. It also coordinates with the Medium Daisy Punch

The card size is 7 x 7centimeters. This will fit perfectly in the 3 x 3 inch envelopes available in the Annual Catalogue

I stamped the daisy directly onto the card, punched out the ladybug body in black and the wings in red. I then stamped the black dots onto the wings. The "Hello" greeting is also from this set. The border is hand drawn with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. The daisy centre is from the Glossy Dots Asssortment

It is so quick to make a set of these and they would be a lovely gift.

Ways With Packaging - Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop

Welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. I am pleased to be back after being AWOL  at the beach over summer here in AustraliašŸ–

Today we are showing some creative ways to use packaging options available from Stampin' Up!®, and I've chosen to show a project using the "Love You Always" Treat Box. Item # 154285 from the January to June Mini Catalogue.

I decorated my Love You Always Treat Box using the free "Paper Blooms" papers from our recent Sale A Bration promotion. If you missed out this time keep an eye open for the next SAB coming later in the year, so you could earn free product. You can of course use any Designer Series Papers you have on hand.

This little box is so easy to put together - no gluing so all you need is a bone folder or strong fingers to get nice crisp folds. You get 10 boxes in a pack.

I decorated the outer layer that acts as a belly band with 4 rectangles of the paper and adhered them with Multipurpose Glue. (Item # 110755) I also cut out some of the larger images, and made them varying heights with Dimensionals (item #104430)

My plan is to use these Love You Always Treat Boxes as little Easter gifts this year. I'll be decorating them using stamped images from 2 of our current promotional stamp bundles - Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick. Then I'll fill the boxes with treats.

Scrap Page Featuring Forever Blossoms By Stampin' Up!

I teach a scrap class once a month and like to focus on a particular Stampin' Up! product that suits the technique we are using.
This month I decided on the techniques of stamping off, masking and sponging.
I printed my photo in sepia tones.

Sometimes the decoration on a page can overwhelm the photo, so I've kept this quite simple. I used some doilies as masks, sponging over them with Smoky Slate ink, then stamping off doily images starting with full strength Smoky Slate.
The blossoms are from the Parisian Blossoms stamp set that forms part of the Parisian Blossom Suite

Beautiful Moments in Water Colour

Beautiful Moments is a stamp set that really "talks" to me. I have 3 beautiful daughters and the images remind me of happy memories when they were young.

I chose to use the water colouring technique with an Aqua Painter and the Stampin' Up! Classic Inks, working on Fluid 100 water-colour paper.

This photo shows the quick application of colour after the image has been stamped with Stazon ink. With this technique I find it unnecessary to stay completely within the outlines of the image, as freedom in applying the colour is important.

I tore the Seaside Spray mat against a steel ruler to complete the card. This is easy to do and gives a quick finish to the card.

I hope you like the card - there are many beautiful stamp sets and bundles in the 2020 Mini Catalogue.
